Positive, We had the most perfect stay. The location is unbelievable, just steps from everything you need. Anne is a fantastic host and welcomed us warmly. Our room had a lovely sea view and the roof terrace was great for morning tea. Beds were super comfy!

the only redeeming quality was the location. my room was outrageously overpriced with slanting floors and the dreadful lack of bedside lamps. i expect, at the very least, personal treatment, such as an upgrade, but i just couldn’t get that here. overall, a disappointing experience that should've been so much better.

The reasons I’m conflicted

A fantastic location near quaint cafés for breakfast. Lovely garden areas for relaxation. The rooms are clean, stylish, and spacious, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

Parking options were a bit challenging given the historic city center layout. The exterior feels outdated, lacking the charm expected from a cozy guesthouse.

Accessing the room requires navigating many stairs due to the absence of an elevator, which could be an issue for those with mobility challenges. The breakfast setup might be a bit of a misnomer, as a broader menu could enhance the experience considering the rate being charged for the stay.

I had the pleasure of staying for 3 nights in a Double Room with Private Bathroom. The cozy decor and lovely sea view from my balcony created a perfect atmosphere. I also enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor deck area and in the charming communal lounge, which added a unique touch to my experience.

The Double Room with Private Bathroom was super cozy! The bed was really comfy and I loved the bright, airy vibe. Plus, I had a lovely sea view from the balcony. The shared outdoor spaces were a great bonus, perfect for chilling out. Just a heads up, it's a bit small, but it didn't bother me much because everything felt clean and fresh.

We had a fantastic stay at Pier House! The location was perfect, right by the water and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, with a lovely balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. Ann, the host, made us feel right at home with her warm welcome and helpful tips for exploring Kinsale.

This was just a good pick for a relaxing holiday in Kinsale with outstanding value. The breakfast was excellent and the coffee provided was a nice touch to start the day. Just be aware that parking can be limited, so plan accordingly.

parking wasn't clear, but the room was clean and airy with a nice balcony 🌸. ann was super friendly and made us feel at home. we enjoyed the cozy lounge area too. definitely recommend!
